Hi!
My name is Sheel Mohnot. I've come to India for a year to work for Kiva.org through the Indicorps fellowship. It's pretty fun and at times very adventurous so I've decided to share my peronal pictures and experiences with the blogosphere. This was primarily meant for my close friends to know what I'm up to without me having to send out mass-emails, but other people seem to be interested as well, which is awesome.
Obviously, everything here reflects my views and not those of Indicorps, Kiva, or any other organization I'm a part of.

Hi,
I’m doing a senior seminar paper on Kiva and I was wondering if you knew why Kiva isn’t allowed to exist in India? My prof’s friend at the World Bank says the government won’t allow it.. do you know why?? What other problems is Kiva having there?? Please e-mail me back if you have time.. Thanks so much =)

I’m itnerested in knowing more about kiva in India. I’m currently trying to research on the existing MF landscape in India and apparently Kiva is a big game player. Any idea how I can know more about it and it’s penetration in Indian market place?
